Rates 

Initial intake session: $225 (60-75 minutes)

60 minute appointment: $185 

Couples private pay: $165

Mini Intensives: $650 [only available to current clients and premarital counseling services]

60 minute Premarital appointment: $130

2 Day Couples Intensive: $3000

Payment for all appointment-based services, except intensives, is expected at the time of services. 

For all intensives a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of payment is due 7 days prior to the scheduled date of service. Cancelation details will be provided in payment contract. 

Cash, Health Savings Account, check and all major credit and debit cards are accepted. Please make checks out to Boise City Counseling.

Good Faith Estimate

Good Faith Estimates Notice. Notice to clients and prospective clients:

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Insurance

Boise City Counseling is contracted with some insurance carriers. It is your responsibility to ensure all relevant insurance policy information is provided prior to your session and you remain financially responsible for all charges of services whether or not they are covered by your insurance carrier. Depending upon your insurance coverage you may be expected to pay a copayment or deductible, please check with your provider for details. 

Cancellation Policy 

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not provided at least 24 hours advance notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. All appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours advance notice are subject to a missed appointment fee which is the full session rate (not just an individual's co-pay).

Returned Checks

Returned checks will be charged the amount of the check and a $25.00 processing fee.
